Hania & Amelie

Connections on the Street
Hania and Amelie met in Potsdam, because it's halfway between Berlin and Poland. It was a sunny Saturday. Hania was playing a street gig next to a completely drunk Irishman who was trying to sing House of the Rising Sun.
Amelie assessed the quality of the playing and proposed a joint project to Hania. For Hania, it was a win-win situation. Knowing someone who lives in the old market square meant she no longer had to pee in a Chinese restaurant.
Unfortunately, they had to wait a long time for the rehearsal, adapting to strikes and trains and Berlin's S-Bahn. But they made it.

Amelie Stegmüller
Amelie Stegmüller was born in Leonberg in 1993. She discovered her love of music at an early age and began playing the piano at the age of five. After studying at the Trossingen University of Music, she worked for various ensembles as a choir director and accompanist. Nowadays, music in Amelie's life mainly takes place on the street: as a singer and pianist, she shares both cover songs and her own songs with her audience as a street musician.
Hania and Amelie play songs they like, their own compositions and cabaret songs about the hard life of songwriters, about cakes, and of course about spring, always about spring.
